Danfoss Power Solutions, a leading global supplier of mobile and industrial hydraulics as well as electric powertrain systems, has appointed Chrystin Matuszek to the role of Australia and New Zealand country leader, effective 1 January 2024.

Based in Melbourne, Australia, Ms Matuszek will continue to report to Mike Hill, President of Global Sales.

In this newly formed position, Ms Matuszek will play a key role in strengthening Danfoss Power Solutions’ presence in the ANZ region and driving the local growth strategy. She will provide singular leadership for ANZ sales and operations and will be responsible for channel excellence, engineering, supply chain management, safety and quality. Ms Matuszek will also become a member of the ANZ Danfoss Regional Management Team.

“I am excited to drive growth and innovation while fostering a dynamic, forward-thinking approach to our ANZ operations,” Ms Matuszek said.

“My focus will be on enhancing customer engagement, driving operational efficiency and nurturing local talent, ensuring that Danfoss Power Solutions continues to lead in this dynamic region.”

Mr Hill said, “We see real growth potential in Australia and New Zealand, but the region has not received the focus it deserves, due to our global structure and distance.

“The region requires a unique approach, and under Chrystin’s leadership, we will drive a simple, one-team focus to best position ourselves for growth.”

Ms Matuszek has been with Danfoss Power Solutions for two years, most recently serving as Senior Director, Global Commercial Operations. In this position, Ms Matuszek was responsible for customer care, contract risk management, virtual sales and pricing across all regions.

Prior to Danfoss, Ms Matuszek held a variety of sales, strategy and operations roles with progressive leadership responsibility across the automation technology and fluid power industries.

Ms Matuszek holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, the US, and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Morehead State University, Kentucky, the US.
