Australia’s biggest event celebrating women in mining is back!

The industry is invited to share AusIMM’s commitment to championing diversity, equity, and inclusion in the resources sector by celebrating together this International Women’s Day.

2024 will be the sixth year  of AusIMM hosting this national event series. AusIMM invites you to celebrate women’s achievements across five states with inspirational keynote speakers, Claire Parkinson, Marlee Silva, Jelena Dokic, Dr Kylie Moore-Gilbert and Rachael Robertson.

This International Women’s Day features new Series Ambassadors – a group of exceptional women in mining dedicated to championing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in the resources sector. These remarkable individuals will collaborate to showcase their unique approaches to DEI, share personal achievements, and reveal their sources of motivation.

The Series Ambassadors are passionate about DEI and deeply committed to industry. They will be at the forefront of the International Women’s Day campaign, actively shaping conversations and spearheading our collective efforts to drive positive change together.
