Following shareholder approval at an August general meeting, Venture Minerals’ name change has been recorded by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.
The company is expected to commence trading on the ASX under Critica Limited henceforth, with the launch of Critica’s new website on Thursday 12 September.
Critica Limited’s Managing Director, Philippa Leggat, said, “Minerals that have important uses with no viable substitutes and face the potential for supply chain disruption are defined by the US Geological Survey as critical to a nation’s economic and national security.
“Critica is dedicated to discovering and developing critical mineral deposits to feed global demand for the minerals that are vital to modern life.”
Ms Leggat said the company’s new name reflects its focus and thanked shareholders for approving the relevant future for the company.
“We’re funded to advance our exciting Jupiter rare earth project while rare earths pricing is low, presenting the opportunity for a more defined value proposition when the cycle turns.
“We’re more than halfway through the drilling program, metallurgical test work is underway, and we’re targeting our maiden resource by the end of the year.”
