Nominations are open for the 2022 Premier’s Awards in Energy and Mining in South Australia, celebrating industry excellence through innovation and transformation, safety and well-being, environment, and community.
Now in its eleventh year, the awards are an opportunity to celebrate organisations, individuals and initiatives that contribute to the development and furthering of the renewable energy, petroleum, mining and technology sectors in South Australia, with the State Government’s Hydrogen Jobs Plan coming into focus.
The keys to future green energy security lie in growing the energy and resource sectors in South Australia through innovation, collaboration and global leadership, which is why the government committed to the $593 million Hydrogen Jobs Plan.
The Premier will present awards across categories including Community, Environment, Safety and Well-being, Innovation and Transformation, Young Achiever (under 30) and this year for the first time a new category – Young Indigenous Achiever (under 30).
The Department for Energy and Mining and its partners SafeWork SA, Environment Protection Authority and the Department for Environment and Water continue to deliver this important awards program.
The Premier and special guests will present the awards at a dinner on Thursday 8 December 2022.
