Nominations are now open for the 2023 Victorian Women in Resources Awards, celebrating exceptional women and gender diversity champions across Victoria’s minerals industry.
The awards feature six categories, including:
- Exceptional Woman in Victorian Resources
- Exceptional Young Woman in Victorian Resources
- Gender Diversity Champion in Victorian Resources
- Outstanding Victorian Trade, Operator or Technician
- Award for Technological Innovation
- Excellence in Diversity Programs and Performance Award
Now in its seventh year, the Victorian Women in Resources Awards is proudly hosted by MCA Victoria.
As well as recognising and promoting diversity, the awards also aim to inspire women across Victoria to consider a career in the resources sector.
By celebrating women who are contributing to the success of the resources sector and championing diversity, the awards are an important recognition of excellence in the sector in Victoria.
Applications are open to employees of companies or organisations working across the Victorian minerals industry, including mine equipment, technology and services and energy.
Winners in each category are elevated to finalists in the Women in Resources National Awards.
Nominations close 26 April 2023, with finalists announced in May 2023. Winners of each category go onto the national awards in September 2023.
