A new online portal has been developed allowing innovators to approach OZ Minerals with ideas and technology to contribute to the development of modern mining practices.
Developed by OZ Minerals’ Think & Act Differently (TAD) team, the TAD Open House is where ideas can be submitted at any time and later reviewed by TAD’s expert panel every quarter.
This will enable TAD to broaden its understanding of potential opportunities and it means innovators trying to approach them don’t need to cold call, wait for fixed challenge windows, or find the right contacts on LinkedIn.
TAD will also have some specific areas of focus where they are looking for new ideas and technology. Right now, those are Separation and Pre-Concentration, Slope Engineering and Materials Movement.
“Collaboration is key to shared success, and TAD wants to work with the best minds to change the future of mining and unlock the modern minerals needed for a sustainable future,” a TAD spokesperson said.
