AusIMM is excited to announce the release of the technical program for the International Mine Ventilation Congress 2024 (IMVC 2024).

IMVC 2024 will be held in Sydney, Australia, from 12–16 August. It is an opportunity for the mine ventilation community to come together and discuss new technologies and developments with a goal of improving and refining ventilation, refrigeration, cooling and health and safety in mines globally.

The IMVC series is the only global gathering of the mine ventilation engineering community and as such presents a unique chance to share knowledge and grow your professional network. AusIMM looks forward to welcoming attendees.

The program features a total of 89 technical presentations, each of which were handpicked by the Core Committee from the 173 abstracts received.

It includes presentations from 11 countries, including Australia, Canada, China, Germany, India, Kazakhstan, Nigeria, Poland, South Africa, the UK and the US.

It also offers four revered keynote speakers from across the globe: Professor Liang Yuan, ‘Dr Dan’ Pronk, Bob Leeming and Stephen Smyth. Each speaker is set to provide impactful updates on their work and the state of the industry.

To learn more, view the program on the AusIMM website and register for IMVC 2024.
