Following strong interest, the Queensland Mining & Engineering Exhibition (QME) has expanded its outdoor floor space, providing industry leaders with additional opportunities to showcase their products.
The outdoor area is ideal for displaying specialised and large-scale equipment across various product categories.
QME will be held from July 21–23 at Mackay Showgrounds in Queensland, where thousands of attendees and hundreds of exhibitors will gather for three days of innovation, networking, and industry engagement.
QME’s outdoor exhibition area accommodates a wide range of equipment, including pumps, lighting solutions, solar products, generators, OEMs, fleets, modular buildings, vehicles, and machinery.
This high-visibility platform enables exhibitors to present their offerings in a setting that demonstrates real-world applications and performance.
Rebecca Todesco, Show Director – Mining Events at Prime Creative Media, stated that, given the success of 2024 and strong industry demand, expanding QME’s outdoor expo area was a must.
“QME’s outdoor area is a hub of activity and one of the most popular places at the event, and the expanded outdoor expo area creates new opportunities for more people to get involved.
“This is an exceptional opportunity for suppliers to show off their products where the entire industry can see them, in an environment that encourages collaboration and discovery,” Todesco said.
Several leading industry names have already secured space in QME’s outdoor exhibition area, underscoring the strong demand and visibility this location provides.
Confirmed exhibitors include Hastings Deering, Liebherr Australia, Hitachi Construction and Machinery, Epiroc, BROOKS / XCMG, Hidrive, H-E Parts Australia, Busch ANZ, MOTION, Kinetic, Ford Australia, and Norweld Australia.
These companies will showcase a range of advanced equipment and solutions, providing visitors with direct access to the latest mining innovations.
Now in its third decade, QME remains a cornerstone event for the Queensland resources sector. The event draws suppliers, contractors, engineers, and site personnel from across Australia and internationally.
It combines world-class exhibition space with a compelling program of free-to-attend sessions, expert presentations, and networking opportunities, all tailored to the evolving needs of the mining and engineering industry.
“QME isn’t just a trade show,” Todesco said. “It’s where people come to find solutions and check out the latest tech. The outdoor exhibition area makes it even better, giving equipment a spot to be seen and noticed in operation.”
