As the first quarter of 2025 wraps up, the mining industry is shifting focus toward a bustling second half of the year, with Q3’s event calendar headlined by the highly anticipated WA Mining Conference and Exhibition (WA Mining).

From October 8–9 2025, WA Mining will transform Perth into a main attraction for the WA mining industry, with two days of product displays, business meetings, networking and thought-leading content.

With approximately 92 per cent of 2024 event visitors coming from within the state, WA Mining is truly where the state’s resources sector comes to do business.

But WA Mining is more than just a business gathering; it’s where the industry comes to sharpen its expertise and expand its knowledge.

Alongside the expansive exhibition floor, WA Mining 2025 will feature a paid two-day conference, where experts from across the industry will take the stage to offer their insights on the trends and challenges shaping the sector.

WA Mining’s industry-leading conference will go dive into the sector’s most pressing topics, analysing the latest developments in the field and breaking down what’s trending across the industry, and why it matters.

Key industry figures will share practical examples and proven approaches that will help attendees discover valuable industry perspectives and unlock actionable market intelligence.

The comprehensive conference agenda will explore themes including the role of traditional commodities in the new age of mining, how university programs and upskilling can tackle skills shortages across the industry, and investing in WA projects to bolster the state’s economy.

Experts will also offer in-depth analysis of Australia’s position in the critical minerals industry, improving practices around managing mine waste and mining residue materials, and game-changing technology driving the industry’s evolution.

Prime Creative Media marketing manager of mining events Rebecca Todesco said the conference is the perfect opportunity for industry professionals looking to level-up their expertise.

“We have carefully curated our conference program to ensure we’re covering the topics that the industry is actually interested in,” Todesco said.

“We’re inviting leaders from across the industry to share their insight, meaning attendees can walk away from the event with not only business connections but also skills and knowledge that they can share with the rest of their team on site.”

WA Mining will be held at Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre from October 8–9 2025. To secure your tickets, visit www.waminingexpo.com.au/attend
